I Don't Even Know Dude

Howdy. So I just recently got back into the Sims and downloaded the Sims 4. Got the base game downloaded and my expansion packs with it, then hopped into the game to make sure both Custom Content and Script Mods were enabled, then exited out of the game. I downloaded some CC, and two Script Mods, put them in my mods folders, and started my game. I go into CAS, and none of my Custom Content loads in. None of my CC even shows up in that startup thingy whenever you first load into the game, same with my Script Mods. I've doubled checked to make sure my Scripts Mods are up to date. I've done the thing where you remove the Mods folder and load into the game, so it makes a new Mods folder, but it never does so for me. I've done the thing with checking my firewall/antivirus, but my Mods folder isn't being blocked. Plus, I've also deleted the cache files too to. At this point, I don't even know what the problem may be, nor what to do either. I just wanted to post this to see if anyone else is having a similar problem, and to hear any other suggestions as to what I should do. Man I just wanted to rizz up Metatron from Dogma, not rizz my Sims game into actually working properly.
