Main Menu Portrait is Gone & Game Won't Load!!

Hello,

I am having trouble starting up my game. When i try to load my household from the start screen and from Manage Worlds, its stuck on the plumbob loading screen. Even when I try to create a new sim and my game still wont load. 😢

I tried updating all my mods and doing the 50/50 method and it is still not working! I am starting to think that I need to just start everything completely over. I have attached a screenshot of what is happening.

    @colormerosie2 Try this please:

    1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop (you'll get all your saves/mods/tray files etc. back into the new folders later)
    2. Run a Game Repair
    3. Launch Sims 4 and see if a clean start is working at that point.

    If it's not, are you on a Mac or a PC?

    Thank you! This worked. I found out that my game was doing this because of something weird that happened in the save file that the glitch happened in. I just had to bite the bullet and delete that save file. I guess this is a good excuse to start fresh on my game!
