Okay I'm going to admit I was offline for most of last week. Break NAO hit me again. >.<
I REALLY need to stay out of volatile threads (it wasn't here).
I am woefully behind here. I will catch up. But if I'm not moving fast enough for some of you (and that's a perfectly valid reaction to have, I do put things off), come chat with us at Discord. Lots of help there. :)

Off Topic, pretty much the real reason for this post. Catch up time. I haven't done one of these in a while. Hope nobody minds the "slice of life" I'm about to include here.
I had an incident happen at work last month that I ended up quitting over. After 7 years on third shift, I am now (happily) unemployed. They threw me under a bus in such a way that I don't even miss the place at all now. And I'm taking the summer off, I don't plan to find another job till school goes BACK in after summer vacation.
One reason has to do with my car. I don't trust it. Still isn't fixed to MY satisfaction, and I won't put myself through that kind of stress.
Another reason is, we need to do more family stuff. My schedule really torpedoed a lot of that. I've been working on turning myself back into a daytimer. After years as a vampire, it's kind of weird to be on a more "normal" schedule. So I've had that going on, too.
Here's something "fun"... my debit card was hacked recently. Used at work, two days after I'd quit. NOT COOL. It was NOT me or my husband. So I've had a terrible "disputed charge" experience overall, it took longer to get my debit card replacement than something else I ordered from them later. That's been a bear. But the card came day before yesterday, finally.
Yesterday I had the idea to go shopping with hubby (he got off work early). We went to Walmart, I wanted to see if they had any SSDs. They didn't, but, get this... we came home with me a new computer!
Really nice. (I got a pretty decent Last Check from work, because I'd built up a lot of paid time off.) 23 inch monitor, NVidia (no more AMD!), 1TB HD, 6GB ram. Runs Sims4 in 64 bit. I could never figure out how to do it on my laptop. So last night hubby and I sat here and listened to music on it (testing speakers), something we hadn't really done in years. The errand run was another thing we hadn't coupled up for lately. It was a fun day.
This evening was less fun, only because our 15yo is having a rough patch at school. Teenagers. Raging hormones, you know. But the worst part was he left his drawing tablet (probably a stress-related oops) at school, and now he's afraid it won't be there tomorrow. I already told him, if it isn't, we'll replace it. He draws like I type. Gotta have a way to do it. So, that may be a tomorrow issue.
I can still do it, I was lucky hubby spotted this system. Cheaper than I thought we'd be paying. So if tablet replacement is a thing, I've got it covered.
I know I said I'd start catching up more here tonight earlier, but, real life decided to hand me a different evening. My kid is more important. I hope you can understand that.
I'll be back, but maybe I should get some sleep first. Tomorrow's another day.
