I am also having the same problem. I had UI extensions installed so thought that was the issue and deleted it but that did not resolve the issue.
I've never had UI Extensions installed with this save and still got the issue.

I'm on console, PS4, and my Sim recently got the 'early midlife crisis'. I didn't play with a different family. I also am not getting the checklist to get rid of the crisis. I looked under the sim's aspiration and there's nothing to scroll down. It's just not there.
I have this problem, I haven’t seen the midlife crisis section at all since I got the game but I keep getting moodlets for it. I also play rotationally so guessing that’s why I’ve never seen it in my save? I have no CC or mods.

For anyone not seeing the checklist on a vanilla game, please create a thread in the bug forum
For the OP it was a matter of looking at the wrong place so it's best if we have a clean thread that's just about the actual problem.
If you play rotationally, please state so cause that seems to be the root issue for this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs
@snarkysims wrote:I also have run into this. I am not using any gameplay or UI mods, but I do have CAS and build/buy CC. I also play rotationally. My current household is an adult couple with two infants. The mother got a mid-life crisis, and her task list appeared correctly in the aspiration panel. The father did not have a mid-life crisis at that point. I then rotated away and played three other households for a total of three Sim weeks. When I returned to this household, the father now had the moodlet for a mid-life crisis, but no task list in his aspiration panel. Perhaps the issue was caused by him gaining the mid-life crisis while I was playing other households. I exited and reloaded the game, but his task list still does not show.
I've the same issue and I'm a rotational player too. The issue affects multiple sims and appeard sometime during this fall, but I don't know after which patch (or game added). I've all packs and kit, except Bantuu.- gothnailcare2 years agoNew Traveler
After reading around I realized that in my particular case this is maybe "working as intended" but is not clear based on the in-game text.
Sims can have an "early mid life crisis" that will later turn into a "full" mid-life crisis. It is only when a sim enters "full" mid-life crisis mode that they get the checklist. If your sim's moodlets say "early mid-life crisis" it may be 24-48h before the game enters a state where they are assigned a "bucket list" in the Aspirations panel. This was confusing to me, because it is not really clear what you should do when your sim gets the "early mid-life crisis" moodlet and I'm still not sure whether there are any actions to take at this early stage.
So far, 100% of my sims' "early mid life crisis" bubbles have converted to a full mid-life crisis, but I don't know whether this is always the case.
