So I updated but I can’t seem to see the rental lot option anywhere, does anyone else have this issue or how to fix??

@Pandex1994 I took out all of my lot related mods (there only seemed to be 3) but that still didn't do it. I don't know if it's the same for others but I can see the Rental type symbol, it's the same one I saw in youtube videos, but the name itself is just blank. I click on it and it does nothing.

I am having a very similar issue as @emilyinsulani except I have the vacation worlds , but I can't change anything into a vacation lot in Sulani or anywhere else.my latest version is 1.68.154.1020 which should be the current one as I saw it update yesterday.

I was able to fix it. I repaired my game and removed a mod that changed the venue type (can't mention it here due to community regulations). May be look for any mods that affect the venue.

@emilyinsulani What game version do you have? Please load the game to the Main Menu, where you can choose to start a new save or load an existing one, and look for the version number along the bottom. Please list the entire thing, i.e. 1.xx.xx.xxxx.

I had the same issue. Updating all the mods that changes or adds new lot types seemed to fix it for me. If you have any of those mods you should consider doing the same.

Do you have any other mods that might secretly add or change venues/lot types?

You should try and disable all the mods and see if it works without. Could be a mod still affecting it

@Pandex1994I'll try to do that in game options, thanks for the tip.
Update: Tried to disable mods, remove them from my folder and restart the game and still see the rental type as blank. Also might just be confused, but I'm seeing a lot of people posting new lots in the gallery saying it's rental type but the gallery says it's residential?? Honestly don't know what's going on.

You could try and repair you game from Origin. You could aslo try and remove the Resource.cfg file from the mods folder. Don't know if that would do anything but it helped fix my mods not loading from the October update.

If that doesn't work then this might just be a bug. Hopefully, in that case, they fix it soon.

You have to go to manage worlds and either place them or change a lot type to rental.
