Mods & CC Not Showing

Hello, I am posting here out of desperation to see if anyone could help me.

I recently reinstalled the Sims 4 after taking a long hiatus. After putting together a start for my go-to mods and CC, I entered my game (with CC and script mods enabled), and only three pieces of CC showed up under my startup screen (checked in-game to be sure, and they are not there either). The thing is, these three CCs are not installed in my mods folder or anywhere on my PC. 

I have spent hours trying to find the problem, and I have tried:

-making sure my mods and CC were put into the folder correctly

-making sure that my game was using my specific folders

-uninstalling and reinstalling

and, for good measure, I tried to wipe my entire Sims 4 game data clean. It did not work.

I have **bleep** near accepted my defeat, but if anyone knows what the problem could possibly be, please let me know.
