My Sims Family is Stuck **PLEASE HELP**

Help pls! My sims family is not responding to any commands..When I click on an object to use, my sim refuses to use the object, essentially they are stuck. I've tried to reset my sim using the reset cheat and it's still messing up..

Any help would be very appreciated. I miss my Sim family ☹️ ☹️

    @KATALITE27 Do you use custom created content in your game (called cc)? Sounds like you may have some outdated cc or a cc conflict. Remove the Mods folder and delete the localthumbcache.package file. Restart the game and see if that didn't fix it?

    Oh yes lol, I'm a Mod addict..I love how CC's enhance game play so much. I will try this and report back if it works! Thanks so much for your reply!
