@SophiaFaustin10 All mods are "third-party files" from the point of view of the game (they aren't from Maxis, and you didn't make them either, like you do a Save file).
BUT... mod conflict detectors are basically useless except for finding files with identical names (delete one of the duplicates) and Sims 3 files.
Otherwise, all they tell you is if two mods/CC call on the same piece of game code; they don’t tell you if they do that in a way that will ever actually cause a problem -- and much of the time, there's absolutely nothing wrong with two mods/CC doing this! So, they're useless at detecting conflicts between mods.
They're also have no way at all to even start looking at if a mod is conflicting with game code and therefore broken. Some mod conflict detectors have been known to decide that actual game files should be deleted.
For mod conflicts, make sure to read creators' download pages. Many creators will at least attempt to list the other mods theirs conflicts with (the ones they know about). Use resources like this site's Broken/Updated Mods list to find out about which content is conflicting with the game itself.
