Not able to see VideoCamera.ini settings change in game

Hello, I'm having issues with using the camera in the game. I go to the VideoCamera.ini file and I scroll down to the bottom options, I'm suppose to be able to change Default Interpolator parameters type/time. So I the type to EasyInOut and the time to 8 seconds and then I save the settings and see the results in game. Nothing changes in game, the camera still moves in it's default setting of Linear type and 2.0 seconds. I closed the game, repaired it and tried again but nothing happens. I don't know why it's not working, please help :'(

  • @Yasmine91  I haven't messed with this particular file much, so someone else may have a better idea.  But it's possible that the game can't use one of the settings you're imposing so it reverts to default.  I'd suggest changing one setting at a time, preferably one where there are reports that the exact setting (not just what you're changing but the value you're using) works for other people.

Please also double-check that after you've loaded the game once, the changes you've made to VideoCamera.ini are still present.

  • Hi! I don't know if you've already fixed it, but I was struggling for so many months without success, and I just figured it out. While searching for a solution again, I read that the mod 'Buckley Tab Mode Camera' overrides the file videocamera.ini. So, I was using that mod and I deleted it and tried again, and voilà! It worked. That mod was the big issue. I hope this helps if you're also using the mod; get rid of that to make it work... or at least for me work!
