Question about gameplay and mods
This is really stupid, but I need to know if I'm right in this situation. So I'm talking with my bf about me modding and adding cc into my game and explaining to him that i have to update my script...

You are right. If your bf doesn't see the problem, it's a him problem, not yours. To put it simply, without updating your game:
- You cannot obtain the last bug fixes EA/Maxis released.
- You cannot repair your game in the EA app (because repairing the game automatically downloads the game update).
- You cannot buy new packs (newer packs need the lastest update).
- You cannot participate in the online Events.
So it's always best to update your mods.
