@klasd3 Okay. If the date modified isn't changing when you add the updated versions, then I wonder if maybe you are dragging the files in and clicking "replace". For most if not all mods, using the replace function may not completely update all the code properly. So, you'll want to delete the old ones first and then move the new versions in. This is just for the package and script files, as you should be able to keep any .txt files like the mc_settings file. Keep in mind that as the mod changes, some settings may become obsolete and you may need to update certain settings after loading the updated mod files.
As for the errors, you mentioned your "one drive" is full. If you mean you have some things stored on OneDrive, this will almost certainly cause some problems. So, let us know if that's the case. If you just mean your hard drive is full, I'm wondering if part of the problem could be a lack of memory. Even if most things seem to run fine, some programs need extra space to actually run and not just for the storage space. It might help if you could clear out some files from your hard drive. Do you have a lot of photos, music and videos stored on your laptop? These files tend to be quite large and can take up a fair amount of memory, especially depending on their quality / resolution. You might want to get a thumb drive or external hard drive to store those larger files and have more space for your game files.
It might also be helpful if you could attach a DxDiag in a reply here. The instructions for getting it are at the below link.

I'm not an expert at analyzing system specifications but there are people here who can help. Note that the instructions state this process is for PC but I believe it should be the same for Windows on laptop.
