• MonoChaos is retiring their website but not able to access it for updated, and their mods are not available for download from there. These mods are currently unsupported, but are being adopted by other creators. See Updated for several updated/now hosted by HelenTheHunter on Curseforge. New subscribers: You can expect multiple new-post notifications per day for the first days after a pre-EP patch, especially if there’s news about particularly popular mods or mods that are outdated in a game-breaking way.

And to all mod/CC users: Please be patient with creators and give them space to do what they need to do. Most also have school, jobs, family responsibilities, health issues, or other things that often have to come before testing and updating their mods. Those who do mod-clearing (not all do) will get to it when they can. The same is true for mod updates, and those are not always straightforward. In the past, we’ve seen modders give being nagged by Simmers as as a reason they finally quit modding. Don’t be that person. Consider, while you wait, starting a new mod-free game or getting some other things on your to-do list done.

It’s a bug that occurs when “Sims Begin Opted Out of Fame” is selected in Gameplay Options. WORKAROUND: Untick the box, load the venue to let the NPC generate at their workplace, then you can tick the box again.
