Re: BUILD\BUY TAB DOESNT SHOW OBJECTS MAY 2024

After the update on Tuesday (5/28/2024), I can go into build mode, but I cannot see or choose any items in build mode. 

furthermore, when I try to turn off my mods in game, I cannot exit the settings page unless I force shutdown my computer. I deleted every mod I know is not yet updated or could be effecting these glitched areas, but it has not remedied. 

i tried to repair the game as well; did nothing. I do not know if this is a mod dilemma or a system failure, and it appears my system will not allow me to find out which. So I wanted to come on here and see if anyone else is having this problem or may have other tips to offer.

    @0803KF SAME SAME SAME! i had the same issue with the settings window and i tried everything. hope EA will fix this ASAP!

    Please try the following and tell us what happens in your game while testing.

    As always make a backup of your game data before you start tweaking your game to have a fallback option if you don't like the result.

    1. Move all your mods and CC somewhere safe (there's no need to delete them!) such as a folder on your desktop so you can easily find them again.
    2. Make sure to delete your localthumbcache.package file.
    3. Once done, start up your game and test to see if the error still appears.

    Your game will probably work flawless without mods. If that's the case you have to go through your mods and find the culprit. The 50/50 search might be a good method for this task to get a result in a reasonable time.

    Attention:

    All modded content will disappear from the game if you remove it, so if sims are wearing CC it will vanish while you're testing.

    Because of this it's really important that you do not save the game while testing.

    That way your CC will still be there when you bring your mods back into your game.
