So basically, while I don't know if I'm wording it right the UI for the "close" button and "okay" buttons are glitching on my side. I don't know why; I do have mods installed and perhaps that could be the issue but even in like sims inventories it is off. I'll upload some screenshots for further proof. If it could be fixed that would be awesome. While the game is still playable and I'm able to function normally; it is an eyesore and I believe should be fixed ASAP as it could be confusing for some users if they are experiencing the same issues as me. When UI breaks like this just after a patch, it's because you turned your mods on without first checking if they're broken, updated, or cleared. Start at the current Broken and Updated Mods and CC topic (for patch 1.118). See How to Use Mods and CC for how to manage your mods when the game updates. certain parts of my game (mostly buttons) are either missing or look strange. whats in the pictures is just an example of some of the mess ups

Create a new sims 4 folder in game in your documents and remove and back up all saves, cc, and script mods..your game looks like this because you are not up to date with cc mods or your PC might need more memory.
This looks like an outdated mod situation to me along with updated and correction to your PC and graphics card...post in bugs.

You can follow the broken mods thread to get notifications of updates to it, which are about daily but more often after a new patch.

Hi! With the new update released today, my game's option/main menu and lot types/traits menus, are all really weird. No exit button, certain buttons are missing, and it almost looks corrupted a bit. Thanks :)

Probably a broken mod/cc. I had to remove the 5 trait mod to remove my UI distortion.

I can't delete the post for some reason, but I fixed it! It was a broken mod I didn't know I had lol, I had to go into my files to find it, hope this helps anyone with a similar problem!
(Sorry for the low quality pictures.) As you can see, my UI is messed up. I am assuming its from todays update, but I haven't played in a few months so I can't say for sure. Any help is greatly appreciated! Also, my game did crash once when I tried ignoring the problem and continued playing, but that could be that the wifi I am currently using sucks.
