@crinrict It surprisingly still doesn't work with other houses I think my lot is cursed- but yes I have used terrain tools

What happens if you flatten the lot ? - @crinrict When I flatten the lot it still doesnt work and its just a normal 15x20 residential lot

Could you try if the following steps work for you (you need to do all of them)
- Evict the family from the lot through the map
- Enter the house into build mode from the map
- Page up and down all the way so you went through all the floors
- Go back to map
- Move family back in
- Load in live mode
- Bug should be fixed (I did not test if it comes back next time you load the game)
