@bmselbie16 Go to your original Tray folder, copy the files, and paste them into the new folder that the game created. If you're transferring from another computer, you should be able to do that either by uploading the files to an online storage site then downloading them, or by using a thumb drive (USB key). This isn't a Sims issue - it's the same as any other copying of files from one folder to another.
I can't get my original Tray folder as it was deleted the closest I have is a folder that I saved from my trash but I'm not sure if some of it is deleted, will I still do the copying with this? or I have a version from a backup from august?
@bmselbie16 You can restore the folder from the recycle bin/trash. Then copy the files over. Make sure Sims 4 is fully closed when you do this, not running at all including in the background.
it was cleared from trash
@bmselbie16 In that case your only option is to download any from the Gallery that were there or to find original downloads you were getting tray files from somewhere else.
how do I download a corrupted file (household) to my trays? or any household in general
@bmselbie16 Delete the corrupted files in the Tray folder.
If you original got the households or lots from the Gallery, redownload them; there's no reason to expect them to be corrupted files again. If you yourself uploaded them to the Gallery, download them from there. If you got them from outside the Gallery, go to where you originally got them and download fresh files.
The files were probably not corrupted when you first downloaded them but something went wrong at some point and corrupted them.
The households were created by me and saved to my library, how do I do it with the corrupted ones from my library?
@bmselbie16 You don't. Unless you saved a backup of the files somewhere else, there isn't a recovery for this.
