I would just like to add to this that the steps I took days ago (that post seems to have been deleted) are still working with no issues. I never got the HSY pack and still had the roll-back issue until I removed MCCC with the age issues, i.e. its ages not matching the new ages for different lifespans, if that may help narrow down anymore. All my other mods (all updated) and CC (close to 200 GB of merged files now) are still in my game. Same thing happens to me. I do still have the High school pack installed and the only thing that stops the rollback time is when I removed MC Command center. I don't know why this happens but it sucks because MC Command is a top tier mod to have in my game. All my other mods and CC are up to date and I hate that I can't play with MC Command anymore until this bug is fixed. No matter what I did prior to removing MC command my game would roll back to Sunday at 4am and I would have lost any progress made after that date and time.
Mods are not the problem. There are people dealing with this problem who don't have mods, people who have even uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game and started a completely clean save.
This problem here has what feels like an infinite number of triggers.
This is also the reason why so many people have already found supposed solutions in this thread, which is now 47 pages long, but which were completely different for everyone and for some had nothing to do with mods at all. Some have changed some CAS tags, others have deactivated the HSY pack and the error is gone (although they continue to play with mccc and co), others have done other things. About 99% of people with this problem have the problem reappear after they thought it was fixed. So far it's only the people who disabled the HSY pack where the problem seems to never reappeared afterward, despite using mods and cc.However, I've also seen someone say that they never owned the HSY pack and only patched the game and still got the issue.
I'm really at a loss. This problem seems to have infinite triggers and it's different for almost everyone. But it has nothing to do with mods, the problem lies much deeper somewhere between the pre-HSY patch, the pack itself and the post-HSY patch.- twmuse4 years agoSeasoned Veteran
@ShareliaraNot so, I never bought HSY and have now hit 46 sims days without any roll-back or save issues, and the only thing different in my 200 GB+ mods folder (mods and cc all in merged files) is that I removed MCCC, so the lifespans took and worked. Prior to figuring out the age issue (MCCC was forcing just the normal old age lengths for lifespans, which were changed in the last patches) I would get roll-back every time I went to CAS, Travel, etc.etc.
I am not saying it is the mod that was the only problem, just that for those like me without HSY pack, it was the only thing causing the bug to trigger for me.
