Does it still happen with none of your current user data in the new Sims 4 folder?
I did what was suggested, and it seemed to run fine, and then I added things back slowly. Now, it seems like it crashes when I travel to new lots and play in the new lots for some reason.
Whenver I add in any CC or Mods it crashes when I try to make my sims to marry, or move out a household, or when traveling to new lots. Even it was updated and double checked. I was doing the 50/50 method and still having issues whenever I tried to do those actions.
@Kjackson823 Please test these issues with no mods or CC. Some have reports in Bug Reports.
