Any idea when these may begin working again? I have deactivated all my script mods In mod manager for the time being. I'm still a bit new to the game, if the issue resolves will the mods just be fine to activate again? or will I need to update/redownload? Thanks!

I need some help!!! I can't get none of my mods to work! I need help asap!

I haven't updated the game yet, after the last update messed up the game and it took ages to fix. I'm going to wait a bit until I see exactly when all the current mod creators release statements on what exactly was affected before I dive into any updates now. I had disabled the automatic updates last time for a reason that made the game unplayable with or without mods. I believe EA needs to assess this situation before releasing any expansion packs at least to help us play the game smoothly in the future

Yes, turn off automatic updates and play in offline mode. I usually do that too but I didn't realize there was a new update on Sept 4, so when I updated my game yesterday for the August patch it updated for September too lol. Oh well.

It's likely that it will be up to the modders to fix the script mods so that they are compatible, I don't think EA is looking at it as an issue on their end. Mods do break during patches, it is pretty normal - the only difference this time is it is pretty significant to impact mostly all scripts.  Keep your scripts off with Mod Manager as you are or quarantine them in a folder outside of your mod folder like I am for now. All we can do is provide the feedback to these modders and hope they fix the mods sooner than later so that we can download the updated versions! Keep checking back here because I am still adding to the list as I continue to test, I stopped last night to go to bed lol. :)

The mods won't just start working again. They're broken and have to be updated by the creators before they can be used.  You will then have to remove the old ones and install the updated ones.

FINAL - These are the mods that were preventing my game from loading. Regardless of whether they are supported anymore by the creator, I was still playing with them in my folder up until this latest patch so it is worth noting in case anyone else was still playing with them.

I am now able to get back into my household and play - yay! :)
