Re: Sim can't enter home through front door and access home; Possible obstruction?

@Shawnie48Looking at the post again, it seems you modified a maxis home that you got off the gallery, the ones provided by EA usually have no problems at all.

Looking closer at the photos, It looks like the platform that goes into the main is too low to the ground for your sim to even navigate downwards, you'll have to either place a staircase or pull it up if that makes sense.

    @Neechan1 Thank you for your reply. Another member mentioned stairs or leveling the terrain (I think). I've been in discovery mode learning about Sims 4 which is very different than Sims 3. I'll try that and prayerfully it works 🙏🏽. Thanks again!

    @Shawnie48 Yeah, I noticed you're a fresh player that only bought it recently this week 🙂

    How the build mode works in S4 is very different than S3 where I remember you HAD to utilize the console and its cheats to make drop downs and the like...

    Fingers crossed and Hopefully it works!

    @Neechan1 I was up all night trying to figure this out. I eventually threw in the towel and went to bed. Back at it today, I messed around with it more through trial and error raising and lowering the foundation and sweet baby Jesus I did it! So I'm not for certain if it was that or assigning the front door as "front door?" I'm just going to leave it as that because I can leave that stress behind and finally play the game (God forbidden something else comes up). Now I noticed with all the changes made I don't see my roof even with walls up, down, or changing floors? I'm not going to worry too much about it as now my Sim can fully utilize her house. Yeah!

    @Shawnie48 

    If you for some reason want to see the roof while playing you must go above the top level of the house.

    With the roof, It may have accidentally deleted while you were making changes
