Seasons weather not working after Growing Together install

I preordered Growing Together and installed it yesterday and everything seems fine with it, except for now my Seasons isn't working. I checked the game options and it's the same as always, where I should be seeing weather happening -- rain and snow, etc. The seasons announce that they have changed, and my holidays all work fine... but there's no weather. It's just always green grass and sunny out. 

I can't find any answer for what to do -- help please!
