Yes, all of the recovery saves still have him missing, even the initial save and without mods. It’s odd because I made this sim first (after the test sims when I first booted it up) and his girlfriend and family after him, but they still appear in the game just fine.
No, no last exceptions for any of the saves 🙁

EDIT: Unfortunately I don't know what happened. The Sim might have been corrupt in some way and the game removed it but since there are no errors. I'm personally not using MCCC. Did you before ? Maybe that shows some kind of error that could give an indication to what happened.
