Sim not going to venues

Question

Sims won't go to external events.&nbsp; For example, I have a sim that is just starting out in the Law Career, and needs to pass the exam.&nbsp; When I choose on the PC for her to take the exam, she leaves the house, and stays on the sidewalk, never actually going to the exam.&nbsp; I also tried in the actor career and no sim will go to their audition.I tried this first with mods, then tried it again having removed all mods and custom content.&nbsp; No difference.&nbsp; Deleted onlinethumbnailcache. and all other temp files.&nbsp; This only started happening after this latest patch.

@crinrict Well, strangely, I found that even though she stays on the sidewalk, when she does walk back in she had passed the exam. And I do not get a LE. Thanks for the reply, I will just have to live with it, and hope that the actors start going to auditions again someday.

Do you get a lastExceptions for that ?

For the audience, it should work. Do you get any LastExceptions with that ?

I had mentioned earlier that my other sim wouldn't go to auditions. Well, that actually wasn't the case. When they got to the job, what actually happens is that tasks never register as completed. For instance, when it says to get hair and makeup , I get that done and it is done, but the task never marks itself as completed. Same with Wardrobe, practice acting, etc.

Now with mods, i am able to cheat-complete those tasks, and when it comes to the actual gig tasks; those complete normally. A little strange, but not as game-breaking as I first thought.

@jcleaver42 And your game is all updated ? Did you also test that without&nbsp; any mods/cc when the tasks didn't complete ? Not aware of a current issue with those.

Yes the game does have all updates. This started happening after the Nov 30 update.&nbsp; I did try it without mods, by deleting the Sims 4 directory in documents and letting the game rebuild it with the same result.
