S-Pop doesn't play sound (custom songs)

In the part of settings menu where you can preview and disable tracks, do the songs from that station play there?

you say the station stays silent most of the time. Does it matter on the song ?

I just tested this in my game and it's playing fine for me. There was some mod though interfering with the nature sounds radio station though so did you also try a folder rename ?

So I created a new game folder, loaded a sim's lot and clicked on every radio channel to generate all these custom music folders again since they are not generated automatically when creating a new game folder. Spop music plays when the music folder is empty. As soon as you add your MP3 files in, it goes silent on every song you added. If you add the songs to a nother music folder they all play. I tested this now and then took all of them out again and the Spop station is back to silent even with no custom music in its folder.

So the issue is custom music in the S-Pop folder.

I don't use custom music so I'm unsure, if you put them, can you also disable the songs in the options ?

If so, could you please do the following tests

• With custom songs in but turned off, do the game songs play ?
• With custom songs in and turned on, do the game songs also not play or is it just the custom ones that don't ?

I unfortunately don't know which mod it was but the thread is in the mods forum and should be quite easy to find.

So I spent about three hours trying to find the cause of this problem, and finally managed to track it down. It is the module by LittleMsSam called “LittleMsSam_Revy_SynchronizedStereos” from the main script mod called "LittleMsSam_PersonalObjects". And yes, the mods are updated to her latest.
This mod/module is responsible for the S-pop radio station no longer working properly. I tested every single modification I have in the game, and even though I removed them all for testing and left only the few MP3 files, the radio station remained silent. So I created a new save file and tested only with these specific MP3 files, and the station works again as before, WITH MY MP3 files in the aforementioned folder. When I add just this mod back, the station goes silent again.
Somehow, this SynchronizedStereos mod must have corrupted my save file, which is why it didn't work even when I removed ALL my mods. When I add this mod back to my new save file and then remove it again, the station remains silent. If I create another new save file without this mod, the station works as intended again and plays my custom music.

So the culprit for all of this is the LittleMsSam_Revy_SynchronizedStereos mod.  I deleted it and created a new save file since it corrupted my current. Problem solved.

If anybody is wondering why their custom music wont play anymore in this specific S-pop station, (a lot of ppl using custom music) this mod is the reason why.
