Sims 4 Can’t Mount Horse

Question

So my female sim got to riding skill 3. Once she dismounted the horse, the horse did not remove its saddle and now she has no option to mount or ride any horses at all. My male sim who’s never ridden before can mount and dismount and the saddle is removed.

I am not sure what the issue is. I tried resetting both sims and that didn’t help. This is a really weird bug. I want her to increase her riding skill so I can have her join competitions and what not but now she cannot mount any horses as the option is just not there. All their needs were fulfilled as well.

If she's pregnant at all, then that is by design. Pregnant sims cannot ride horses.

However, if you use mods, sims being unable to mount horses has been linked to outdated mods. In particular, ones related to pregnancies and walk styles. You will want to go through all of your mods in order to find the ones that are broken/outdated.

Possibly? I played once since then and the horses saddle and bridle removed and my female sim can mount horses again. I’m not sure what happened but it’s working for now.&nbsp;
