Sims 4 Custom Content not working after downloading City Living

Hello! Just yesterday I bought and downloaded the City Living game pack, and everything has been working perfectly fine, BUT my custom content. I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of, such as moving my Sims 4 Folder to desktop, deleting & re-adding mods, enabling & disabling custom content & script mods, updating the sims, and repairing it. When I go into CAS, the filter option of 'Custom Content' has completely disappeared, and no matter how many times I delete and re-add mods, there's absolutely nothing there. My Sims 4 folder clearly has all the custom content inside the Mods folder, as well as the Sims 4 Copy Folder i've created, however it just won't show up in game.

Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following search command then hit Enter/Return:

    find ~ -type d -name "*Mods*" 2>/dev/null

After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.

Also, you shouldn't have copies in your Mods folder, save them somewhere else.

thank you, but running the terminal didn't do anything, as the results only showed up as 'null', however i fixed this issue by uninstalling the sims, moving the sims 4 folder back into electronic arts, and repairing the game. BUT, now there's a new issue, which is CAS taking insanely long to load. i have left my computer on overnight, and the CAS loading screen is still there, and i'm not able to edit any of my sims.

The issue with CAS, are you playing a clean game or have you added your Mods and saves back into the Sims 4 folder?
