Sims 4 Mods Folder Not Showing

The game installation (base game app + The Sims 4 Packs folder) is completely separate to your Sims 4 folder that contains your saves, Mods etc. Your screenshot shows some kind of random mixture in an Electronic Arts folder that isn't right.
What is the exact location of the folder in that screenshot? Can you also confirm the install location in your Origin games library, Origin > Installs & Saves.
Open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:
find ~ -type d -name "*Mods*" 2>/dev/null
After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.
The folder is under my Documents
Game library location:
/Users/family/Applications
Legacy game installers:
/Users/family/Documents/Documents/Electronic Arts/cache
Here's what I got in Terminal:
