I can't actually determine if this is what is happening in your case, but the files are likely corrupted due to being moved (the connection between the application launcher and storage device is non-existent--in the computer's language). In my case i attemted to move the data to a SD card that remained inserted into my computer. During my research, I did learn that it may be possible to format storage devices as an extension of the C: drive so the computer treats it as an equal. However, it would have to be fast. Noting this, it could still eventually lead to other issues as it requires altering the adminastrative functions of the computer.
Is there any way I could make another drive work? My C drive physically cannot fit all the things I have installed and I have terabytes avalable on another.
