I have done this, and it absolutely did not work. This was one of the suggestions from the ea advisors I had spent a long time speaking to and it unfortunately did not help or change anything. They has suggested to do a report and start a case which I had done and they are now actively investigating the issue seeing as there is a large amount of people facing this issue as its related to the new DLC update. Hopefully this will get fixed soon and we can all go back to our happy gaming days.
