Has anyone else had an issue with the new update where a pop-up about mods being disabled appears every time you open the game? I already re-enabled mods & CC and saved my changes, but the message keeps showing up. Also, the settings don’t save, so when I check again, mods & CC are disabled every time i open the game.
i’ve had this issue before! it was caused by the game version not syncing somehow when updating? i spent hours troubleshooting before figuring it out ://
i fixed it by going to my files, documents > electronic arts > the sims 4 > there should be a text doc labeled ‘GameVersion’. delete the text in that document and type in the current game version, relaunch the game.
