The Sims 4 Issue

Dear Electronic Arts Support Team,

I am writing to report some unusual issues I've been encountering while playing The Sims 4 and to seek assistance in resolving them.

Lately, when I click "OK," the game behaves somewhat oddly. Square-like glitches appear, and although I can still proceed, the experience feels unusual. I've also been facing similar problems when attempting to change my Sims' skills and preferences.

Could these issues be related to the mods I have in my game? If so, how can I address these problems without removing the mods? I've invested quite a bit of effort into setting them up.

Additionally, I downloaded the game from Steam and have changed my computer, but I'm still using the same account. I've previously experienced similar, if not worse, issues on my previous computer. Could this problem be linked to the my account?
