Okay, unsure if this counts as WCIF, but hear me out:
I want to manually assign jobs to townies, esp unemployed ones. I'm not talking about NPC roles though, I'm talking careers like Astronaut, Doctor, Engineer, etc. I looked around MCCC and not found anything for this. Any help?
I don't know of a mod that does this. The most likely would be Lumpinou's Sim Info Manager, but I think it doesn't include career management. Still, you might find it useful for other changes to Sims you see in the world.
My method for doing this has been to throw Sims in an empty lot, play them, select their career, cheat it up a few levels if I care about that (it doesn't affect gameplay until you add that Sim to your household later), then evict them and mark them unplayed again.
Ahh, yeah, I guess I'd just have to manually play the townies I want employed (which is a lot 🤧 and I avoid Neighborhood Stories) Would be nice to have a mod with this function though! Thank you :)
