Troubleshooting Social Events in The Sims 4

Question

I’m having an issue in The Sims 4 with the base game “Plan a Social Event” calendar feature. The option appears on the calendar, but when I click it, the menu is completely blank, so I can’t set up any event.

Here’s what I’ve checked and tried so far:

My Sim is teen or older and available at the planned time.
The lot is residential and has enough space for guests.
Game options like autonomy and event notifications are enabled.
I have MC Command Center (latest version) and other mods installed, including Better Build/Buy.
Shift-clicked my Sim and used Reset Object (Debug).
Tried temporarily removing other mods to test for conflicts.

I suspect this may be caused by mod conflicts or a glitch in the latest MCCC, but I’m not sure. Has anyone else experienced a blank social event menu, and is there a known fix or workaround?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

What your seeing could be caused by trying to plan a social event with goals on a holiday day ie: Winterfest, Spookfest etc or any holiday with a yellow background. The game doesn't allow you to plan a goaled social event on these days 🤷 have you tried different days to see if any will let you plan an event? 🙂

Junkidolly​ Have you tried testing with an empty Mods folder to make sure that Mods are your issue? Do this is both your regular save and a new one.
