when i save my sims it does not go to my gallery

I use cc for most of my sims, which might be the cause of this problem but I do not understand why? I just downloaded cc and the sims, but before downloading it recently I had had the sims 4 before and I had once again used cc and it WOULD save onto my gallery but nowadays it does not, I do not understand why when it used to work. Can someone please help me?
