So after I installed GTW I'm having a problem with some of my CC showing up as Alien Clothing ? Weird right :( I tried to repair my game but it did not help. Before I installed I made sure to take out my mods folder and currently have no mods. just clothing,hair and makeup. Why is this happeningAs you can see in the second picture those are Cc jeans she has on but look at how they look in the picture. I am having this EXACT same issue! I know of others also having this same problem. I really hope this gets fixed soon!!

Hello everybody,I get the same issue during my first Get to Work play and I find a temporary solution to wait before this patch you talk about.I backup my files and I reinstall my game without installing Get to Work right away.In CAS I made try all my CC outfits to my sims, every color of each, to create the correct thumbnail to each of them.Then I install GtW again and all my CC thumbnails were correct and not replaced by those annoying alien ones.I takes hours when you love CC outfits but it's quite better now so ...Hope it helps ...

Hey guys. Yes we have a fix for this in the next patch. Once that patch comes out, you can delete your thumbnail cache in the documents dir and everything will get regenerated correctly.

Hi guys, this should be fixed in today's patch (1.5.149). To regenerate thumbs that had previously been generated incorrectly you will need to delete the local thumbnail cache file by deleting the following file:

On PC: C:\Users\\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\localthumbcache.package
On Mac: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/localthumbcache.package

Did you recently refresh that whole Sims 4 folder? That will have removed the localthumbcache.package file. It's generated only during gameplay.
