I’m an Xbox player on the East Coast, and I still do not have access to the latest Sims 4 update that was announced and released over 24 hours ago.
Automatic updates are enabled. I’ve manually checked for updates multiple times through Manage game & add-ons, restarted the console several times, cleared the system cache by unplugging the Xbox, and confirmed I’m online and signed into Xbox Live.
I own the game on two different Xboxs, have no mods, no restrictions, and no account issues. There is currently no update available to download on either of my Xbox consoles.
Meanwhile, players online (especially on PC) are already discussing the patch, which makes it frustrating as a paying console customer to have no access and no communication about delays.
I’m not asking for special treatment — I just want access to the update that has been released.
Can someone please confirm whether there is an Xbox rollout delay or an issue that needs to be fixed?
