Cannot load into game on PS4 - Sims 4

When I load the game I get to the start screen and press X and the plumbob loads all the way across, then it gets stuck on the screen with the game tips. New tips keep coming up and the plumbob keeps spinning but it never loads into the game. I have tried restoring licenses, restarting, rebooting and rebuilding the database but nothing has worked. It was fine a couple of days ago and since then I’ve downloaded the latest update and the courtyard oasis kit, could it be one of these?
