For example, when a Sim in the Naturopath career is heading to work, the pop‑up menu offering choices such as “Go to Work,” “Work From Home,” “See Clients at Home Lot,” or “PTO” appears. If the player is holding an item (like a plate or another object) at the moment the pop‑up triggers, the game can bug out and display the held item as the cursor. This locks all controller input completely, forcing a full restart or requiring the player to switch to mouse and keyboard to regain control.
