Every time I build I get a list of more problems! And I can only build because Gameplay is crashing so badly.
So this is what I found today. I can't extend the terrain tool size now. It stays small, on light setting and I also can't draw with it. I have to dot spots of terrain on the ground one at a time! I attach images. I mean, I've placed the square terrain tool next to a small fountain for scale. It's tiny, about the size of one tile and is so faint it barely makes a mark. Also because the menu doesn't close, if you catch the edge of it with the terrain tool it changes terrain options.
So, onto the next in a long list of problems. I take an item from the list via the colour bar and half the time as I go to place it I get the sound you get when you press Back, but I haven't pressed Back and the item is gone. It's highlighted on the menu as I've chosen it, but I have to keep trying to select it again to place it.
New problem number 3 for the day. Someone in their infinite wisdom decided we wanted categories to change every time we pick up an item, or choose an item from the All list. Did we ask for this? I use All Plants to landscape, like most people probably I use flowers, trees and shrubs. It's easier to use one long category with every outdoor plant. But no, now it changes from Shrubs to Flowers to Trees as I go and I have to keep going back to the All category to get the selection I want. Also it flickers each time. It makes it so much hard work and strains my eyes.
Is it too much to expect an explanation for all this before now? Because the radio silence isn't acceptable. Not for a debacle of this magnitude, because this mess is epic. Where is the statement? Where is the apology? Where is the fix? Improvements to console controls you said. Did anybody pick up a controller to test any of this? I don't believe that's possible because nothing, I mean nothing is working properly. This should never have been forced on people without consultation because you may own the brand but we own the hardware and it's broken now.
