I was involved in the early comments and just wanted a sell all button, a stable pointer and easier CAS functions (which were ignored).
But, to my new point (because I find a new problem every day) Freebuild is impossible. When in build mode on my Sims lots, at least I can exit and re-enter BB mode to stop it glitching but I can't in freebuild. Yesterday I tried to add my pet rescue on the 64x64 Hound's Head lot in Brindleton Bay. After 2 hours I had to not only give up, but I was nauseous and needed an anti sickness pill (that's only started happening after these changes). Y did not work to delete a room and it's virtually impossible to delete a room with a sledgehammer. Search popped up every single time while the action did work, but Search popped up over it so it does the 2 actions together. But the flickering is awful, nothing should flicker in this game, I'm not photosensitive but it's very unpleasant as I've said for over a month now. I've had to turn down pointer speed even more as it was way too fast. There's no need for it to go up to 200%. Terrain Tools allowed me to expand them, they don't always do that but I still had to tap instead of sweep, even on max setting. Plus, max setting is too difficult anyway with the menu open as everything catches it. I gave up and created a new Sim but CAS is worse than before. All the controls stick as I've already said. I have to exit the category and go back in for almost every choice as the current selection is frozen. I can't easily select outfits 2, 3, 4, 5. There should be a Top of Page button. It took about 40 minutes to create a Sim because of the sticking.
I can't add more content with this going on and the very sight of the publicity for new content just riles me even more. It feels tone deaf I'm sorry to say.
Edit: tried a small build yesterday and can no longer add floor tiles as roofing on portions of flat roof. Nothing happens except a message saying it must be applied "to top of room". Also getting new error messages placing pond items like ducks/logs "must be placed on flat terrain" even if they fit easily in the water. Also the terrain manipulation tools to lower, raise and smooth have to be tapped and can't be swept, creating an uneven and very messy effect. Took nearly an hour to create a simple stream leading to a duck pond.
