control panel disappearing

been getting this bug basically every day now and its making the game unplayable. the control panel disappears and nothing can be interacted with. usually it occurs when leaving build mode but this time it was after travelling. nothing fixes it and going into manage worlds turns the whole screen black. im on console so its not a mod/cc issue. tested with new saves so its not an issue with my current save either. its happened 3 times today i feel like they rushed to get this pack and reaper rewards out the last few months and didn't bother to test out any bugs because there's sooo many right now

    How often does the bug occur? 
    What is your current game version number? 
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? 
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 
    What happens when the bug occurs? 
    What do you expect to see? 
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? 
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?
