Dear EA,
I'm a long time fan of the Sims franchise and have been playing since the first game. I love this series and, specifically, the building aspect of it. Every game before the fourth, I played on PC. This one I bought for console. For a console game, it's attention to detail is quite impressive. I have one major issue with it, however, and it's entirely due to the controls. The Sims is a PC game for all intents and purposes, of this I'm aware. That being said, it's all the more important to polish the controls for a gamepad which isn't exactly revered for its finesse. The one major problem - a problem so inhibiting to gameplay that through its fixing I'd be able to overlook all others - is the lack of vertical camera rotation. The two angles provided on default (which aren't too contrasting to begin with) are not enough to properly navigate the environment you have no doubt worked very hard to provide for us. I'd love to purchase the various expansion and stuff packs, but this issue I have is preventing me from doing so. It's not worth playing, if I can't see what I'm doing. As I said though, I love these games. It's the best house builder I've ever come across and has been a part of my life since being a young child. Thank you for reading this (incredibly long) post. I hope we can figure out how to fix this!
P.S. Cities: Skylines has a console version of their game with controls that are very smooth and functional. It'd be wise to check them out and take a page from their book perhaps.
