Error Code 102:7f6dd991:b7a9ed3b on Xbox since September update

Since the September 2026 update, I have repeatedly been getting the following error when trying to load my game:

“The game failed to load. Error Code: 102:7f6dd991:b7a9ed3b. It is recommended that you relaunch the game.”

I’m playing on Xbox and I don’t use mods or CC.

The error wasn’t happening before the update, but since updating it has started appearing repeatedly. I’ve also previously continued playing and saved my game after receiving the error, so I’m concerned about whether this could have affected my save.

I would really like to know whether this is a known issue with the current Xbox version/update, rather than an issue with my save becoming corrupted.

Could someone please advise what this specific error code means and whether it is being investigated?
