Game crashing when entering CAS
Every time I try to enter CAS my game crashes I am on console I dont have any mods or CC. It has started happening after the newest patch 02.03

Any of my sims it crashes when entering into CAS
@Ajah133 Hello! Sorry your game is crashing! That's really frustrating. I checked my PS5 game and didn't have any problems. :-(
I saw you mentioned this is happening in your current save but did you also try in a new save? If not, please test a new save. As crinrict mentioned, it's possible the save was corrupted somehow.
Do you mind answering a few more questions so we're better able to help you?
- How are you entering CAS? Are you editing the household from Manage Households or entering in Live Mode? If in Live Mode, are you clicking on a dresser or a mirror or using the Modify in CAS cheat?- Are your sims regular sims or occult?
- Do you have all packs and kits?
- Do you have PlaystationPlus with cloud storage? (This is more so we know what potential steps to fix the issue are available.)- @Ajah133 I started a separate thread yesterday on constant crashing on XB1 that used to be just travel but now (as of last few weeks) happens on trying to enter CAS and build mode,
- @JonaO703 I know several console players who are also having their playstation 5 crash when traveling and entering cas, no i havent tried a new save, i am entering CAS through dresser or mirror then it loads a little and crashes. i have 1 werewolf sim, all packs besides batuu and missing a few kits, yes i have playstationplus with icloud storage.
- @nickinbigd where can i find this to join because as of right now my game is still constantly crashing to travel and going into CAS
@Ajah133 I just saw the reply to me. Thanks so much for providing the extra info! I also saw that you started a new thread after the last update. I'm so sorry that your game is still crashing. Based on what you said, I think it's a good idea to create a new save and see if the game crashes there as well. I'm just wondering if your current save could have been corrupted somehow. You may also want to save everything to the cloud with PS+ and delete the game from your console storage. Then reinstall the game and check to see if a new save crashes after that.
I've seen some other similar threads that talk about console crashing so it's quite possible there is a larger issue. Hopefully something works for you! I wish I could be more help to you.
