Game keeps freezing and won't let me exit to menu Sims 4

I noticed a bug that's been happening I think after I bought and downloaded the Seasons pack on my Xbox, basically the game will freeze in time but you can still interact with things, your sims won't do what you ask though. If you pause the game and open the menu it'll rewind by a few minutes but then freeze in the same spot again. If you try to exit to the main menu it will stay in the loading screen and won't go on from there
