Game Reset Issue

I play on Xbox One, and this problem started happening after the latest update. When I launch the game, it appears as if it has never been played before. I get prompts to adjust the screen size, accept EA terms and conditions, and all of my households and save files are gone. The first time this happened, I exited the game immediately after I saw that my saves were not there, and I restarted the console. When I launched the game, my save files were back but all of my packs were showing up as if they were brand new, and the tutorials were popping up. I started playing my most recent household and everything was normal except my settings were strange. The audio settings were reset, the tutorials and controls overlay were active, and all of the packs appeared as if I had only just bought them. I thought it was just a one-time glitch, but it just happened to me again, exactly like the first time. All of these things are new issues for me and appear to be connected. I saw someone bring up this problem in their own thread recently and it was closed because it contained multiple bugs, but I could not find any other thread addressing this issue. Restarting and adjusting my settings is a band-aid fix for now, but I would like to know that this won't continue to occur.
