Nothing works still. Did a bunch of restarts, saved and re-saved the file, deleted game and re-downloaded.
i did start a new game and noticed that some things (like the mail box) were clickable.

- @EA_Lanna No I just did it to test it. My old save game file is the one I want to use and it still doesn’t work.

Odd. Can you share what platform you're playing The Sims 4 from and what steps you've done so far?

PS4 with the latest update.
Sims 4 has the latest update as well. Item was bought from the PS4 Store and not being played from a disc.
- Item is usually left on standby mode but I've power cycled the console and reset multiple times.
- Deleted the game and re-downloaded
- Created multiple saves of the game and rebooted each file
- Create a new game file (items worked for this file)
- Moved the game from the external HDD to the system
