Initial loading screen stuck/extremely slow when online
Im on XB1, all packs, all updates.
When I start the game while online, the initial loading screen (when loading the game itself, not a savegame) will always get stuck on about a quater of the way, sometimes it will move again after a loong time and sometimes it wont at all.
If I start the game while offline this wont happen, no getting stuck and initial loading is waaay quicker.
While its good that at least it always works offline, this of course means I cant use any online features while playing, since even if I reconnect after the initial load the game wont go back online completely (meaning the main menu will change to its online view but the gallery still wont show up and things like the reaper event wont work) and wants a restart which is obviously unhelpful.
I also tried to "connect EA account" thinking that might get the game completely online again but everytime I click it the game crashes.
So for now I pretty much can only play offline, which sucks.
If anybody with the same problem finds this,
This is what is working for me right now: I launch the game while offline, once the main menu is loaded in I go online again and wait for the pop up asking me if I want to restart, I click yes, the game crashes, I go offline again and do the same thing and this time the game doesnt crash on restart and the loading screen doesnt get stuck either.
Very rarely this will work on the first try too but usually it needs two tries.
Still not ideal but at least I can play online now.
