I recently bought a new Xbox and logged in to my account downloaded a few games and when I got to Sims 4 the only packs that would download with it were kids room stuff and cottage living however I did have cats and dogs as well and now when I try and download it again it says I need to buy it it may be because you can no longer get cats and dogs on its own without the my first pet stuff so I'm not sure what to do since Microsoft has told me to tell EA

@InuWasHereXD Could you also try the steps here please and let me know if you're able to get Cats & Dogs installed that way?

Hi there @InuWasHereXD,

First let's check your Games & Add-ons to see if we can get Cats & Dogs installed again on your Xbox.

Try these steps:

Highlight The Sims on the dashboard

Press the Menu button on the controller

Select "Manage Games and Add-ons"

You should see an option here to "Install" Cats & Dogs

If you're still only seeing an option here to purchase Cats & Dogs, can you let me know where you originally bought this pack from?

I am so sorry I completely forgot that I wrote this I will try but I'm pretty sure it's not there because I think I checked last time also I got it from the Microsoft store

If the DLC isn't showing as available to install there, you'll want to reach out to Microsoft support here since the pack was purchased directly through Xbox so they can review your account and see why it's no longer available for you.

@EA_Solaire Hello I'm sorry I forgot again but I already told Microsoft multiple times before this and they have told me to go to ea so I'm not entirely sure what to do

Are you sure you've purchased Cats & Dogs on this account, or was it maybe bought on a different gamertag?

@EA_Solaire If you mean the ea account that I'm talking to you now on then no but it is definitely the one on my Xbox because I have checked that I have bought it on that account

For PlayStation, you would follow these steps:

Quit the game if you have it running.

Go to your Library

Choose Purchased

Select The Sims 4

Scroll down to Playstation Store and open My Add ons

Find your DLC in the list and start the download

When the download finishes, let your new content install and restart The Sims
