So I did end up trying your cheat and I don't think it worked. At first I though it was because my pet didn't have a last name, so I gave her one but everytime I typed it in nothing happens. To make sure I was doing it right, I tried it on my other sims and it worked. I decided to then turn her into a ghost, but she's still missing. Brought her back to life, still missing. So now I went back to my old save before I did the ghost cheat. Thanks for trying to help me but I'm not sure if this can be fixed. I might just have to delete her a get a copy. Sucks but if I have to I will.

Another thing you can try, if you haven't already removed the cat, is to upload the cat to the Library, delete the local cat, and then re-add the cat from the Library. Could you see if that helps bring the kitty around again?

Just tried this, sorry for taking a bit also, but it didn't work. Which surprised me because I honestly thought it would work too, but yeah. I hope though now I can bring her back or she'll die somehow? Maybe, but it's still glitched. I guess I will have a cat outlive everyone.. :/

When you imported the kitty from the Library again, did it start out in the missing state?

Yes it did. I decided to add her more than once in my other families but they all still say missing sadly. If this can't be undone I guess I'll let her be to live forever in some other household. For now I'll see what I can do. I hope this can be fixed, I'm in no rush but I wasn't really planning on having a elder cat live forever.
